Rooted in both the Reggio Emilia Approach and Experiential Learning philosophy, a Portland Preschool (PdxP) education strives to honor a child's role as director of his or her education while providing an environment rich in opportunity for hands-on experiences.
Our light-filled school and organic learning gardens on the edge of Mt. Tabor Park act as a "third teacher," our place for laughter-filled magical play, exploration and discovery. Within this protective environment, we infuse the children's days with respect, friendship, compassion, generosity and courage.
